I’m Blondie!

I was found at a feed lot in Louisiana after kill buyers bought me at auction.  People don’t understand or maybe just don’t want to know that when they take their horses to auction that the most likely scenario is that they are going to end up with a kill buyer who sends horses like me to Mexico or Canada to be killed and eaten by people in foreign countries.

So there I was, in a kill-pen with my friends, waiting to be shipped to slaughter, but then someone saw my photograph and they told others about what was going on and then lots of other kind people donated money to help get us out.

Because of all of the kind support from people all over the country we found new homes in Oregon at a lovely 9000 acre mustang ranch. I’m so happy we were saved but there are so many that are not so lucky, and so I hope you will consider making a donation to In Defense of Animals today to help get other horses like me out of these awful horrid places and in to new homes.
