I’m Gypsy!

I am only about 1 1/2 years old, and despite being very young, I have an old injury to my leg that causes me to walk with a limp. The people responsible for me didn’t want me anymore and didn’t want to take me to the vet either. Because of my disability I was dropped at In Defense of Animals’ Hope Animal Sanctuary (HAS) in the middle of the night.

The caregivers there found me sitting patiently by the gate the next morning. I was hurt and confused but I really hoped they could help me. I was so lucky! Right away, they talked to me, and picked me up. I was fed, bathed and given flea medication.

I was finally able to see the vet and I am now getting proper treatment and taking medicine for my leg which is getting better every day. They say I’ll even be scheduled for leg surgery soon to fix me right up! I have been spayed and am waiting to find my forever home.
