I’m Wendy!

I was supposed to become a treasured member of my new family, but they didn’t have any time for me and just put me outside in a fenced in area. They mostly ignored me and only came out to feed and water me, sometimes only a few times a week. I went hungry a lot.

A concerned neighbor called In Defense of Animals’ Hope Animal Sanctuary and a nice person came out to see if she could help. She asked if she could take me and find me a new home. I was so scared; I had not had anyone talk to me or pet me in almost a year. Luckily, the answer was yes!

She gave me love, food, toys and a bed to sleep on!  I am now with my new forever family where I am never ignored or forgotten.
