1st Annual "Adopt, Dont Shop!" Day a Success!
Thank you for taking action on December 20th!
Countless shoppers across the country were educated about the horrors of pet factories in the 1st annual "Adopt, Don't Shop!" Day. This event was held on the Saturday before Christmas, December 20th, the biggest puppy buying day of the year. Activists in nearly 30 cities across the country stood in front of pet stores with posters and leaflets encouraging the public to always adopt and save a life.
Let's keep the momentum going with further efforts to encourage adoption over buying!
If you would like to have a presence in your community in front of stores that sell pets, IDA can provide you with supplies, tips, and send e-alerts to IDA members in your community to help get people to join your efforts. Please e-mail any questions or event details you might have to renee@idausa.org.
Please send us your photos so that we may share your success!
