Bull Runs for His Life from New York Slaughterhouse

Recently in New York, a bull named Frank Lee ran for his life in absolute terror from a slaughterhouse in Queens.

Eventually, the NY police department caught up with Frank after a caller reported him racing down Liberty Avenue near 160th Street towards the campus of York College, and he was taken to the Animal Care & Control Center in Brooklyn.

Later that day, Frank was picked up from the Animal Care and Control Center by famous comedian Jon Stewart and his wife, Tracey, to take to Farm Sanctuary’s shelter in Watkins Glen, N.Y.

Jon and Tracey are well known animal advocates who announced just last year that  they had transformed their New Jersey farm into a center for neglected animals of which Frank is now one of their lucky new residents.

You may remember a similar story about a bull named Freddie who also escaped his own slaughter in New York earlier this year. As is true for Freddie and Frank, no animal wants to die, and they all are filled with overwhelming anxiety and terror during their last moments before and during slaughter.

Please remember these individuals when you select your next meal and spare animals like Frank and Freddie, by leaving them off your plate. Click here to get your free Vegan Starter Kit today!
