Urge Senator to Put the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act Up for Vote

The American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (AHSPA) (S.1915) would ban the slaughter of horses for human consumption and the domestic and international transport of live horses or horseflesh for this purpose. In September, the House passed their version of the bill—which has wide support amongst the public -- but another push is needed to get it onto the Senate floor. Please "Take Action" to urge Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) to put S.1915 up for a vote.
