IDA Equine Rescue Program Rides On

Over the past five years, IDA’s horse rescue program has saved and rehabilitated more than 200 horses. Since we rescued a group of Peruvian Pasos from physical abuse and near starvation in August 2001, IDA's broad coalition of equine rescue and advocacy organizations has taken a central role in protecting both companion and wild horses. The program fosters horses who are victims of severe abuse or neglect. Through our partnership with Cliffrose Ranch in Snowflake, Arizona, we give the adoptable horses the time and care they need to heal, and then place them in loving homes where they can live in peace. We provide lifetime care at Cliffrose Ranch for those that cannot be adopted out to families.

We hope that you will support for these horses in permanent sanctuary. Whether you become a monthly sponsor or make a one time donation, your funds will be used to provide care and support to our sanctuary horses.
