SAMPLE LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Editor,

Thank you for your article on the Korean Dog Campaign (Title of Article and date that it ran).

It is terribly disheartening that the Korean Government has laws in place to protect dogs and cats from abuse but it carelessly ignores its own laws. Two million South Korean dogs are electrocuted, strangled, or bludgeoned to death each year. They are killed in the cruelest ways imaginable, because many Koreans believe the adrenaline that rushes through the system will improve virility.

While the practice of eating dogs is not widely accepted in Korea, it is up to the Korean government to ensure that it is completely eradicated. Caring people should not sit back while dogs are beaten to death "to make their flesh taste better."

Please use your voice to contact the government of South Korea and demand immediate action.

Sincerely,
