Wilma and John Renner

For the number of dogs housed at this facility there are absolutely too few inspections. Some of the dogs are housed in covered outdoor enclosures and others housed in a concrete building. Probably the most prominent memory of my visit to this kennel was the total darkness in which the indoor dogs were housed. A couple of dogs exhibited behavioral problems that could be attributed to living in persistent darkness. Unfortunately, as I have just mentioned, there are too few inspections considering the number of dogs housed at this facility. Oddly, the Renner’s daughter, Michelle Sonnenberg, operates a USDA licensed kennel next door, however, the inspector has failed to manage time wisely and inspect both facilities while in the area.
