Free Your Mind at our Vegan Spirituality Retreat!

 

We are pleased to announce our partnership with Mantra Lounge, a group that brings yoga, meditation, and veggie meals to venues around the city, including college campuses! Reciting mantras, which are special sound vibrations found in the ancient yoga texts, can relax and revitalize the mind. The word “mantra” literally means to “free the mind.”

Mantra Lounge will provide yoga, meditation, and delicious vegan food for our Vegan Spirituality Retreat. Here’s a sneak peak at our tantalizing retreat menu: creamy curry, vegetable stir-fry, semolina fudge (halva) or carrot cake, and green salad with dressing. See our full program below… 

Program:

10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.             Welcome, Intentions, and Introductions

10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.              Yoga

11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.             Meditation

12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.              Vegan lunch

12:30 p.m. to 1:00  p.m.             Nature walk (optional)

1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.                 Qi Gong

1:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.                Snack

2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.               Featured Speaker, Peter Jam

3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.               Animal Blessing Ceremony

We look forward to spending the day with you and Mantra Lounge on Saturday, October 8 at Saunders Woods in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania to explore veganism as a spiritual practice and to honor animals around the world. Friendly animal companions are welcome with leashes and carriers.
