Finally, justice has prevailed for Tiger, the Texan cat who was shot in the head with a bow and arrow by Kristen Lindsey, a heartless veterinarian. After posting her kill on Facebook this past April, Lindsey came under fire for not only bragging about taking the life of an innocent animal, but because she did so in such a callous way.

She took a vow to serve and protect animals, not kill them and then laugh. After the Texas Grand Jury decided not to bring charges against her, which was terribly unjust, the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners decided that she should no longer be a vet and revoked her license. Many of you signed our alert, asking for just this outcome, so thank you! Previously, the only punishment she received was to get fired from her job.

Unfortunately, Lindsey has rejected the board’s order, so the case will be heard before an administrative law judge and we are guardedly optimistic that the time is coming when she will no longer be allowed to practice medicine ever again. Hopefully, this will be sooner than later.
