Hi! I’m Boo Boo. I got that name because when I arrived at In Defense of Animals’ Hope Animal Sanctuary, I had a really bad boo boo in my eye. While we were playing rough, one of my siblings scratched my eye. Even though it was an accident, it really hurt- a lot! A woman who works for IDA took me to a doctor to have my eye looked at and he said that it was about to rupture and would require surgery right away. Even though it cost a lot of money, he did the surgery, gave me some medicine to use, and today my eye is almost well. Pretty soon I will be fully recovered and living with a new family that will never let me get hurt again! Because of generous people who support In Defense of Animals, they were able to pay for my eye surgery.
