While many street dogs in India struggle each day, one lucky dog is living the life and is now the latest Instagram star!

At only three months old, Skye, the only survivor after her mother and siblings were all killed by vehicles, was enduring abuse by a shopkeeper. That’s when young Shai Diwan came to the rescue and adopted the young pup.

Shai, now 13-years-old, is also the human behind the camera and Skye’s Instagram account: Indian Dogue.

Rahul Diwan, Shai’s father, says, “She wanted to give a street dog a better life…So yes, the message is that street dogs are also cute and really nice.”
