Join Us for the 6th Annual National Animal Rights Day

The 6th annual National Animal Rights Day (NARD) event takes place on Sunday, June 5th simultaneously with NARD events in 13 other cities in the U.S and Canada. In Los Angeles, the event features an opening ceremony and a mini-vegfest with booths, vegan food, speakers, and performers. Stop by the IDA booth to learn about our campaigns and meet our Sustainable Activism Campaign Director, Lisa Levinson!

The non-profit Our Planet. Theirs Too. hosts NARD to speak for all animals and advocate for their rights, and pledges to continue to do so until all animals are free from enslavement and their rights are protected by law. All NARD events in major cities across North America begin with a requiem ceremony for the billions of animals who die every year by human hands, proceed to the reading and signing of The Declaration of Animal Rights, and end with a celebration of the animals in our lives, and information regarding the steps that are being made toward ending their suffering and shifting the planet to a cruelty-free, plant-based, lifestyle.
