Gordy, an overweight potbellied pig, was left by his guardians when the hurricane struck New Orleans. IDA helped transport Gordy from New Orleans to a sanctuary in Baton Rouge.


Rescuers are often flagged down while driving around doing food and water drops. Here, IDA workers give a bag of cat food to a sheriff who has been feeding cats in his neighborhood who were left homeless by the storm.
