This cat is the same as the one Doll is holding in the carrier. This is right when we found her under the bed.

Doll Stanley holds a cat that she and fellow rescuer Anita Carswell found hiding under the bed in an abandoned sealed up house. This cat was out of food and water and would have otherwise died.

Doll Stanley receives a grateful kiss from a dog out of food and water as she refills his bowls.

Anita Carswell feeding and spending a few moments with one of a pair of friendly golden retrievers in an open yard.

Small packs of dogs roam the streets and spend the hot days under houses. This pack of friendly dogs consisted of five members.

One of very many hungry strays eagerly eating food put out by IDA rescuers.

IDA volunteer, Scott Cecile, holds an emaciated boxer he rescued from a rooftop. National Guardsmen had alerted Scott's team to this dog. She was hard to locate because the damaged roof allowed her to go back inside the attic and be hard to find amidst all the other houses.
