Let’s Tackle Vegan Bullying Together!

In a recent Huffington Post blog, Maria Chiorando asserts, “When You Openly Mock Veganism You Support Animal Abuse.” As Veganism becomes ever-more mainstream, poking fun at vegans has become an increasingly regular occurrence.

How do you feel when family and non-veg friends mock your values and compassionate lifestyle? Share your experiences of vegan or activist bullying with our Animal Activist Online Support Group. Together we can  brainstorm effective responses to these forms of emotional abuse. Our free, confidential support group is available to everyone who advocates and cares for animals.

Join our Animal Activist Online Support Group discussions as we regularly address burnout, self-care, compassion fatigue, anger, guilt, family issues, activist infighting, and more. Our discussions are led by experienced group therapist and Sustainable Activism Campaign Director, Lisa Levinson. You can participate by phone, Smartphone, or computer on Thursday, March 24, 5:00 p.m. – 6 p.m. PST (8:00 p.m. – 9 p.m. EST).
