Food plays a big part in our cultural traditions, special occasions and events, while sharing meals with family and friends can be a pleasure. Preparing, eating, and enjoying delicious and wholesome foods can bring even deeper satisfaction.

When it comes to food, we really are spoiled with the sheer abundance of choices available. Instead of relying on the flesh, milk or eggs of other species, take the advice of leading health experts, the United Nations, and the World Health Organization, by turning toward a plant-based vegan diet.

It doesn’t have to be an all or nothing transition. Although some people may prefer this method, for many people, it’s a journey where you get to have fun and experiment with new delicious foods! This might involve trying a new vegan recipe, perhaps building to one vegan meal per day, or one day of vegan meals per week. Continue at your own pace until you’ve eliminated all animal products from your diet and make the transition in a way that works for you that is sustainable.

The benefits of this lifestyle are far-reaching and extend to the Earth, to the air, to the water, to farmed “food animals” and finally, to yourself.
