Meditation Helps Activists

Our Sustainable Activism Tip of the week comes from “The World Peace Diet” author Dr. Will Tuttle, who shares the importance of having a regular meditation practice. He encourages activists to meditate as a profound resource for inner peace and emotional stability as we advocate for animal liberation. Thanks to Dr. Tuttle for sharing his reflections on meditation and for presenting a recent Sustainable Activism Webinar on the “Ten Keys to Staying Positive When Facing Animal Abuse.”

Participant responses included:

“By spending more time cultivating personal space, and seeking more supportive relationships, my activism will be less ‘reactive’ and more effective.”

“This webinar provided an understanding of issues other activists are facing and how these relate to my own experiences.”

“Now I will be more prepared and considerate in my interactions with others.”
