Six-year-old Milou has lived at In Defense of Animals – Africa’s Sanaga-Yong Center since he was rescued in 2010, soon after his family was slaughtered. An adventurous and rather fearless little guy, he lost his eye in a terrible fall from a tree in 2012, but has adjusted well to his disability.

Milou currently lives happily in Charlos’ social group of seven chimpanzees. His closest friends include Tilly, Xeko and Daniel. However he is always happy to extend his willingness to play to the others in his group!
