IDA Offers $2500 Reward for Information Leading to Arrest and Conviction of Individuals Who Killed Dog

Grand Junction, Colo.—On June 2, as they were outside enjoying the day with their dog, Chaco, Julie Sinnott and Walt Speirs were horrified to watch as a vehicle trespassing on the canal road through their property hit and ran over Chaco, leaving him to die in a cloud of dust. The vehicle was traveling so fast they could not get the license plate number.

International animal protection organization In Defense of Animals (IDA) is joining Sinnott and Speirs’ efforts to bring the perpetrator(s) to justice by offering a reward of $2,500 for any information which results in the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for killing Chaco. They are seeking the driver of a gray/silver Avalanche-type truck with checker flags in the back window that was traveling between 18 & 19 Rd. near BLM Fruita desert along Highline Canal Rd. on June 2.

Would you please consider sharing this information with your audience? It may be the only hope for finding the person(s) responsible for this reprehensible act. Anyone with information on the case should contact Walt Speirs or Julie Sinnott 970-858-7950.
