Please join In Defense of Animals and other animal advocates as we take action for animals on November 27! Fur Free Friday occurs annually on the day after Thanksgiving and is usually the largest demonstration of the year. Don’t miss your opportunity to join with thousands of caring people worldwide for this international day of action!

We will be meeting by Starbucks in Pioneer Square at 11:00 a.m. We will be demonstrating outside of Macy’s and Nordstrom’s to make all of the Black Friday shoppers aware of the horrors that these two companies support when they make the barbaric choice to sell fur. All of the signs, leaflets, and cards will be provided. If you feel inspired to make your own, please bring them with you!

There will be an after event party at Vtopia Cheese Shop and Deli immediately following the event. It is located at 1628 SW Jefferson St. Portland, OR 97201.

Signs and literature will be provided, but people are encouraged to make and bring their own signs, too.
