Progress for Farmed Animals in Massachusetts!

This November, Massachusetts voters will have the opportunity to vote YES on Ballot Question 3 which will prevent farmed animals from being crammed into cages so small they can’t even turn around or extend their limbs.

This ballot measure was achieved by The Citizens for Farm Animal Protection, a group backed by In Defense Animals and a broad coalition of animal protection, health, environment and veterinary organizations.

As a coalition, and relying on the help of more than 1,000 dedicated volunteers, 170,000 signatures were successfully collected from all 351 towns and cities in Massachusetts which was far more than what was required to qualify for the 2016 ballot.

It is very clear that Massachusetts voters feel strongly about this initiative.
