You may have seen the story of the new dog mum thrown outside our IDA India Center’s gate with her five babies a few days ago. Luckily, besides our regular crew of staff and volunteers, another committed volunteer who does not want to be named, came in specifically to help out with all of them.

All the new pups are healthy, but three were exceptionally grubby. After their initial check-ups, they were taken off for a warm bath which the three of them enjoyed with not much of a protest. After that they were dried in the sun and given a good towel rub, so they would not get sick from being left damp. As a reward for being so good, they were all given a drink of special puppy milk.
