Why Do We Say “Poor Baby?”

Why Do We Say “Poor Baby?”

Have you ever heard a tale of animal suffering and said to yourself “poor baby?” We certainly have. But if the stories we tell about animals aren’t positive, it can become a form of toxic energy. Just like people, animals can often become characterized by the stories we tell about them, and our stories can reinforce their role as victims.

This week, we are learning how to empower the animals we seek to help.

Join us as we speak with Animal Communicator and Energy Healer Joan Ranquet for a Sustainable Activism Webinar on Overcoming the “Poor Baby” Syndrome to be More Effective Animal Activists on Thursday, April 7, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. PDT (or watch the replay). Joan will help us tap into the power of our words as tools to liberate animals, explain how deeply listening to animals shifts our perspective, and provide techniques to help support and positively reinforce our activism.
