This beautiful ginger striped cat was found suffering in a bad way in a garden in Dadar, Mumbai, by In Defense of Animals India trustee, Ms. Goodicia.

The malnourished little cat was drooling and salivating, and would not even eat. Our cat team was deployed and caught the little cat and brought her to our center.

A surgeon examined her and found a growth on her salivary gland which was causing her problems. Senior surgeon, Dr. Ghanwat, removed the growth using our electrocautery diathermy machine.

After surgery, she was kept in our center and made a marvelous recovery. Under our care, she became healthy and put on weight, and spent much of her time relaxing and eating well.

We released her under the care of Goodicia who is watching over this cat in the garden where she lives. We are pleased to report that she is happy there with her feline friends!
