Dear Friend of Animals,
As a long time animal advocate, I am now overjoyed to make a career out of my passion for animals. I have loved animals all my life, and feel privileged to be able to join Dr. Katz and all of the dedicated members of IDA in their mission to secure and defend the rights, welfare and habitats of animals worldwide.
My goals with IDA are twofold. First, I hope to be a resource to our members. The choices in planned giving are varied, and I am eager to help our members understand their options. I plan to try to speak with many of our members to ascertain their views on the past, present and future needs in the planned giving and major gifts arena. By doing this, I know I will be able to take advantage of the wealth of information and knowledge our members have to share which will result in a stronger, more unified organization.
Secondly, I hope to expand our major gifts and planned giving department. Again, working closely with our members will be key to accomplishing this. Phone calls, visits, fundraising events, auctions, celebrity sponsorships - these are all things that I intend to initiate in the hope of not only raising public awareness of the plight of the animals, but also to further the campaigns and goals we are currently working on.
