 | | | Including IDA in Your Will
| | This is one of the most commonly known ways in which to make a lasting gift to a charity - and also one of the simplest. After ensuring that your family and friends are taken care of, you can name IDA in your will so it receives a gift from your estate. You can give a specific percentage of your estate, a specific dollar amount, a gift of real estate, or specific assets such as stocks, coin collections, or works of art.
| | How do I leave money to IDA? | | You should first decide what type of legacy you wish to leave to IDA:
- The residue of your estate, or a percentage of the residue, after your debts have been settled and any legacies you leave toother people have been paid;
- Your whole estate;
- A specific sum;
- A specific item of value - e.g. jewels, works of art.
