Sweet Dog, Chap, Released After Life-Saving Amputation

Sweet Dog, Chap, Released After Life-Saving Amputation

A very lucky dog was recently admitted to our IDA India Center, Deonar Mumbai, after being the victim of an accident somewhere on the streets, with the details unknown.

His leg was severely damaged, and, to save his life, the doctors at our Center had to amputate. Sweet Chap stayed with us for more than two months during his recovery and rehabilitation. Center staff and his own neighborhood caretakers gave him regular exercise and activities until he was fully healed.

Only when they were sure he could manage well on his legs was he released. His caretakers have promised to monitor him and keep us posted on his progress.

Good luck, sweet Chap.
