Ten Pups Orphaned After Mom Dies of Tetanus

Ten Pups Orphaned After Mom Dies of Tetanus

Ten tiny puppies arrived at the doorstep of our IDA India Center, orphaned after their mom suffered and died of Tetanus. The staff managed, amazingly, to get each of them into foster care, which is absolutely essential if they are to survive. There were so many that they had to be parceled out to several willing homes.

At this stage, they are sleeping for about three hours at a time after having their bottles and relieving themselves, very politely, on their designated newspaper spots. They have warm, cozy beds with soft cloth and very large, soft toys to cuddle, helping them feel as comfy as possible without their mom to cozy up to. Their futures will be bright, indeed, when permanent, loving homes are in view.
