The 71^st Yellville, Arkansas “Turkey Trot Festival” took place last month amid an air of controversy over pilot/pharmacist Dana Woods’ one-way cargo. For years, Woods has loaded turkeys onto his plane, flown over the site of the Turkey Trot Festival, at which time terrified domesticated birds are shoved from the plane to land in the middle of festivities, grabbed up and taken home to be slaughtered and eaten by attendees. Though this cruelly foolish event was not posted on the festival event page, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported that the event would take place, and exposed it for its cruelty. Please speak out now to stop these poor animals from being abused for fun.
