For the last two years, hundreds of activists from IDA and other national and local organizations have joined forces to protest Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. These protests have shown record turnouts, so let’s keep the momentum going and make this year the Greatest Circus Protest on Earth! Help us send a loud and clear message that elephants and other animals do not belong in circuses.

What: Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Opening Night Protest
When: Wednesday, July 10, 5:45pm – 7:30pm
Where: Staples Center, 1111 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles – meet at the intersection of Figueroa Street and Chick Hearn Court

Please invite your friends and family! Posters and leaflets will be provided. For more information about this event, please contact Bill Dyer. For more information about circuses, please visit idausa.org.

These beautiful animals don’t deserve to be treated inhumanely and brutally. Those Circus people have no brains to think or do any other thing on this planet. Simply to abuse these helpless animals cruelly while training them and punish them with the most violent and vicious ways are the only things these scum bags knows. Circus people are thriving making money & getting profit because of these poor animals. But the treatments they give to the voiceless animals are Barbaric. I hope those elephants and all the animals should take over the place & need to tie the subhuman Bastards tightly and use the same Bullkooks to pork on those evil peoples eyes. All those who supports and continue to run the circuses should rot in hell.

I would love to be there to show my support, but on the east coast + cannot make it. I will be with you all in spirit though, + will make an extra donation to IDA to support their efforts to put an end to the use + abuse of circus animals!! It sickens me that greed drives those who abuse animals in this way!

I always hated the way animals were treated in circuses. I never visited a circus as a child. Now I hate them even more for their callousness and inhumanity and pure unadulterated cruelty. What irks me is why the Congress does not put an end to animals misery. One wonders if they are any better than the circus owners who are capitalizing on the animals. It is all about money and greed.
