Yet Another “Tire Pup” Rescued and Rehomed

Solomon was born in a tractor tire (more common than you’d expect in Mississippi!) and spent the first few weeks of his life there. The tire was littered inside and around with broken beer bottles and other trash, but Solomon’s mom was in desperate need of any place to keep her babies warm and dry. Sharon Stone, Operations Manager at Hope Animal Sanctuary, found the pups and delivered them to the safety of our sanctuary.

There, we gave them vaccinations, worming pills, and other medications to make sure they were healthy. When they were old enough, our rescue partner, Animal Rescue Front helped us find just the right home for Solomon and his family. Today, all eight of the babies are living with loving guardians where they are taken good care of, and are much loved.
