Urgent: Take Action for Farmed Animals in Massachusetts

Last fall, animal advocates across Massachusetts helped collect 133,058 signatures to put on the ballot an initiative that would ban the cruel confinement of veal calves, egg-laying hens and pregnant pigs. On May 3, the clock ran out for the Massachusetts legislature to take action on this farmed animal initiative, placing the measure back in the hands of voters.

Now, volunteers are needed to collect an additional 25,000 signatures from registered voters in Massachusetts who did not sign in the fall.

Massachusetts law requires pen-to-paper signatures. This is a challenge, but together we can do it!

We need everyone on board, even if it’s just a few hours here and there- we welcome your support!

Sign up here to take action.

Thank you for being a part of this historic effort for farmed animals!
