WILD & FREE Cruel treatment and killing of animals in the wild and in urban areas, the accelerating rate of habitat loss is of great concern to IDA. The Wild & Free campaign works to be a voice for urban wildlife.
ELEPHANT PROTECTION Elephants are highly complex, social animals. In the wild, they live in extended family groups. IDA has become a leading voice for the plight of captive elephants.
RESPONSIBLE RESEARCH Every year, tens of millions of animals are dissected, infected, injected, gassed, burned and blinded in hidden laboratories on college campuses and research facilities throughout the U.S.
Dogs & Cats Dogs and cats are among the most popular companion animals living with humans today. IDA works to rid the nation of gas chambers and help reduce the feral cat population.
