15 Year Old Takes Helping Cats Into Her Own Hands

We’re so impressed with this kid! Elise Hardacre of Orlando, Florida was worried about unaltered community cats living in her neighborhood - many breeding out of control - so she rolled up her sleeves and got to work.

She set about to trapping the cats, getting them spayed and neutered, then returning them to her neighborhood. Elise is too young to drive, so her mom pitches in to help with transport to and from the spay/neuter clinic. So far, they have spayed/neutered 22 cats!

Amazing grassroots trap-neuter-return (TNR) project, Elise! Huge purrs to you (and your mom) for helping keep cats healthy and safe.
