Join Us for a Vegan Thanksgiving Potluck Picnic and Fur Free Friday Events

Annual Vegan Thanksgiving Potluck Picnic in Los Angeles – Thursday, November 24

Join us for Los Angeles’ biggest vegan potluck event of the year, a tradition that is more than two decades old. Hundreds of people attend annually. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!

Come share some delicious food, connect with like-minded people, and enjoy the outdoor environment. There will be music, live performances, and an open mic. Feel free to bring drums, other musical instruments, a frisbee or a ball to toss. It’s a great place for children and animal companions who don’t mind crowds. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

Our Sustainable Activism Campaign Director Lisa Levinson leads the Opening Circle to kick off the event at noon and will offer free support sessions at the Empathy Booth. Arrive promptly to ensure equal access to all of the amazing vegan culinary delights!

This free event is open to the public. Please see the details below:

  • Alcohol is not allowed at this public park.
  • For each member of your party, please bring a vegan dish to share that will serve at least 8-10 people and that is ready to serve. Vegan means no meat, including fish, and no eggs, dairy or honey – No animal products at all.
  • Organic, chemical free, GMO free foods are encouraged. Both cooked and raw vegan food is welcome. There will be a space designated for raw food (pasteurized foods, commercially canned and most jarred food are not raw).
  • Bring an ingredient list to help those of us with allergies.
  • Bring your own plates/bowls, cups, eating and serving utensils.
