We welcome people who want to explore adopting a plant-based diet to come check out our very first Carnivores Anonymous meeting in South Lake Tahoe. You don't need to be vegan, just interested in learning about the possibilities opened up by kicking animal products to the curb. We come together via monthly support meetings and other fun events to exchange strategies and encouragement. We also have cool speakers come to share their inspiring vegan stories!

Our guest speaker this month is Dave Simon, who is a lawyer, activist, and the author of the groundbreaking, critically acclaimed book "Meatonomics: How the Rigged Economics of Meat and Dairy Make You Consume Too Much–and How to Eat Better, Live Longer, and Spend Smarter." Dave will share from his wealth of knowledge about how much impact we can truly have on the world and on our lives by going vegan. We hope to see you at this special kick-off event on January 5!
