Demand Justice for Puppy Who Suffered Ongoing Abuse in Colorado!

Thanks to an anonymous tip, a Colorado man has been arrested for the ongoing abuse of his mother's helpless 3-month-old pit bull puppy Nova. Demand maximum sentencing in this case!
On October 7, 2024, the Grand Junction Police Department received a tip and videos of animal cruelty occurring over a period of two weeks. An arrest warrant was issued the same day, and police identified the suspect as Ryan Kieckhaefer, who was taken into custody and charged with aggravated animal cruelty.

Video footage showed him swinging the puppy around by the leash, hitting them, spraying them in the face with a hose, and breaking a tooth with pliers. There's no excuse for this sort of behavior, and this man must also never be allowed around animals again, or children for that matter, since he clearly is a menace to anyone who can't properly defend themselves.
Kieckhaefer was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility and is being held on a $15,000 bond.
Letter to Decision Maker(s) for reference:
Subject: Maximum Sentencing for Man Who Repeatedly Abused Puppy
I am writing to you to support the prosecution of Ryan Kieckhaefer, who was arrested and charged with aggravated cruelty for brutalizing his mother’s 3-month-old pit bull puppy, Nova.
Kieckhaefer was arrested on October 7, 2024, when Grand Junction Police Officers received a video of him repeatedly abusing the puppy over a two-week time period. The cruelty was so condemning he was arrested by that evening.
Kieckhaefer must be held accountable for his actions. He must not be given a plea deal, must be subject to mental health evaluation and treatment, and incarcerated. He must also not be allowed around animals for the rest of his life, including the dog victim, Nova.
Thank you for your service to your district. I will be following this case to its fruition and ask that you provide the presiding judge with my letter and supporting signatures for the sentencing phase of Kieckhaefer’s trial.
Sincerely,
Signed
