Celebrate the First Central Coast VegFest in California!

Join us at the first Central Coast VegFest, a free, all-day event celebrating veganism with cooking demos, food samples, speakers, a family zone with activities for kids, and much more organized by our own Vegan Spirituality group leader Jenny Jones for the Central Coast Vegans.

Imagine yourself in beautiful downtown San Luis Obispo, enjoying one of its famous "summer in the winter" days with the sun shining and the warm air slowly flowing by tinged with a hint of sea salt coming from the great Pacific Ocean nearby. Surrounding you are the green hills of the Santa Lucia Mountains, and you stand in front of the red brick and terra cotta-tile roofed historic Veteran's Hall of San Luis, where you and hundreds, even thousands, of people are flocking to enter the first-ever Central Coast VegFest.

Music is playing, delicious smells of vegan hot food delights are wafting, and attendees, vendors, educators, and cooking experts alike are sharing the bounty of vegan life. Speakers represent all four of the main benefits of being plant-based – Health, Environment, Conscience, and Kindness – including keynote speaker David Carter, the 300-pound Vegan.

What: Central Coast VegFest

When: Saturday, February 17th, from 10 am to 6 pm

Where: San Luis Obispo Veteran’s Hall, 801 Grand Avenue, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
