If You Want to Help More Animals, Improve Your Relationships!

All of us have expectations and make assumptions about an array of things including people, society, and even ourselves. Sometimes, these are innocuous and don’t present a problem. However, there are times when assumptions and expectations emanating from deeply held beliefs and/or needs have the potential to rupture or strain our closest relationships. The more aware we are about the sources of our feelings and also the more curious we can be about why others feel or behave the way they do, the greater the likelihood that our interactions with others will be less volatile and more fulfilling.

Psychotherapist and author April Lang helps us examine our relationships in our upcoming webinar, “Expectations and Assumptions:  Powerful, Primal, and Potentially Perilous.” Together, we’ll explore some of the common expectations and assumptions of vegans and animal advocates and how they may be detrimentally impacting our lives and relationships. We’ll look at some ways to improve those relationships, or at least keep them from deteriorating further.

Don’t miss this Sustainable Activism Webinar with April Lang on Thursday, May 4, 5:00 p.m. – 6 p.m. PT (8:00 p.m. – 9 p.m. ET). You can join this live webinar via phone or online, or listen to the replay later.
