Mindfulness Supports Our Activism

Bob Isaacson co-facilitated a workshop on mindfulness and meditation for activists at the Animal Rights National Conference earlier this year, sharing ancient techniques to calm and direct our minds. Paying mindful attention to present moment experiences can lead to clarity, relaxation, and harmony with our experiences. Now we’re bringing this experience to you during our webinar!

Bob Isaacson is the President/CEO and co-founder of Dharma Voices for Animals (DVA), the only international Buddhist animal rights/animal advocacy organization in the world. DVA has twenty-eight chapters around the world, with members including the best-known monastic and lay Buddhist leaders, and has produced the widely acclaimed documentary film, Animals and the Buddha, by Keegan Kuhn of Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret and What the Health.

Bob discusses his groundbreaking work with DVA and leads us in a guided meditation during our next Sustainable Activism Webinar on Thursday, January 4, 5 pm – 6 pm PT (8 pm – 9 pm ET). You can join this live webinar via phone or online, or listen to the replay later.
