Salt Lake City, Utah: Rally to Support Onaqui Wild Horses

Salt Lake City, Utah: Rally to Support Onaqui Wild Horses

Calling all Utah area wild horse advocates! Please join the rally to save the iconic Onaqui herd on April 5! The Bureau of Land Management is planning a brutal roundup and removal of nearly 80% of these world-renowned wild horses near Salt Lake City.

Wild horse advocacy groups have banded together to organize a rally at the BLM Utah State Office to urge the agency to cancel its disastrous plans and to instead work with advocates to implement a comprehensive fertility control program!

A strong showing of public support is needed to garner media attention and to put pressure on the BLM to protect this beloved herd that attracts thousands of eco-tourists to the area every year. Please take action to show the world that the public does not support torturing and tearing wild horse families apart. Please join us!

WHAT: Rally to #SaveOnaqui
WHEN: Friday, April 5, 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
WHERE: BLM Utah State Office, 440 W 200 S, Salt Lake City, UT
