California is closer than ever to becoming the first state in the nation to ban fur sales and production, with the final Senate floor vote slated for this week!

If passed, AB 44 will prohibit the sale and manufacture of animal fur products statewide. Fur-bearing animals, whose skins are stolen to produce fur trims, jackets, and other meaningless "fashion statements," will be spared from horrific and agonizing deaths.
