Hi, I’m Guardian Angel, and this is my best friend, Baby. We were both abandoned together by our family when we were young. It was heartbreaking to try to figure out why they didn’t want us anymore. Maybe it was because we’re girls. Maybe it was because they could not afford to have us spayed so that we would not have litters of more unwanted puppies.

Thankfully, the incredibly kind and welcoming people at In Defense of Animals’ Hope Animal Sanctuary in Mississippi took us in from the cold and fed us. They made sure that we had all of our vaccinations and that we were spayed so that no more unwanted puppies would need homes. We are especially privileged to be among the thousands of dogs who they have found homes for in other states throughout the country using their transport program.
