IDA Launches Animal Activist Helpline!

As an animal activist, do you ever feel overwhelmed, isolated, or stressed? What if you could receive genuine support from someone who truly understands your concern for animals?

When confronting animal abuse, we can feel emotionally and physically exhausted. We may feel powerless, hopeless, resentful, irritable, and frustrated. Studies show that forty to fifty percent of us experience such severe burnout that we need to leave our activism temporarily.

Billions of suffering animals can’t afford to lose a single one of us willing to speak and act on their behalf. Confronting our own suffering can help us to confront animal suffering. Through this process of self-reflection, we can become healthy, happy, and effective animal advocates.

On April 10, we open our Animal Activist Helpline offering emotional support, self-care tools, and useful resources to promote effective, powerful, and sustainable activism. Our free Helpline is non-organization exclusive, non-judgmental, and open to all animal activists everywhere.

If you need to speak with someone, please call us at (800) 705-0425 or send us an email at helpline@idausa.org.
