My name is Charlotte, and I was the first of my odd little family to be rescued; along with my cat-brother Frazier, and my poor dog-sister Matilda.

The family that we first lived with was unable to properly care for us because of their own problems with drugs and alcohol. We were neglected and suffered for such a very long time. When the man we lived with passed away and the woman walked away and just left us on our own without food or water, we just didn’t know what to do! Luckily In Defense of Animals heard about our situation and decided to take action!

I was adopted by a man who manages a restaurant and I absolutely love it there. Sadly, my sister Matilda never fully recovered from our shared history of neglect and we had to say goodbye. I still miss her every day and wish she was here with me.
