Fight Activist Discrimination

No one should be discriminated against for having a vegan lifestyle and for speaking out on behalf of animals. Author, journalist, and activist Nancy Holten was denied Swiss citizenship for defending the rights of animals in the media.

Nancy Holten has lived in Switzerland since she was eight years old and now has Swiss-born children of her own. She has campaigned tirelessly for animals in her Swiss town of Gipf-Oberfrick, and was described as “annoying” by residents because she condemns Swiss traditions such as cows being forced to wear cowbells and racing piglets. Is this how people who defend animals should be rewarded?
