Hulk's Day of Rescue!

Hulk's Day of Rescue!

Hello, I’m Hulk! Can you imagine why my rescuers named me Hulk? Perhaps my rather enormous size? Well, I’m just glad they rescued me, because I was so tired of years of being chained to a car's bumper.

My rescue was meant to be. I’d been chained to a car for three years and somehow I finally managed to get loose.  I wandered to a home in the woods where they were having a party, and I could smell the food. The people were nice, but they thought I would hurt them, and then they scared me, so I hid from them and growled when they came close.

The big man there called the Sheriff’s Department, and my miracle is that the deputy who received the call is the one who helps In Defense of Animals with cruelty cases. He called IDA's Hope Animal Sanctuary and a small team came to my rescue.

At first, I was afraid of them too, but they showed me that they weren’t going to hurt me, and I drove away with them. When they figured out that I was “that dog that was chained to the car…”  they didn’t take me back to that nightmare of a life. I was simply a case of misidentification, oh yeah!

I now have my very own family and my very own bed inside a house!

Thank you for helping IDA save me, and please keep on keeping on so that none of us suffer.
