Hi! I’m Jake. I was abandoned on the side of a busy highway, feeling hurt, scared and hungry. A sweet woman from Hope Animal Sanctuary found me and took me to the vet to have my leg cared for. It was not broken, but had a large hole that had become infected. They gave me antiobiotics and wrapped my leg for a few weeks.

I was heartworm negative, so as soon as my leg healed, they found me a wonderful home. I will never have to be scared or hungry again.
